RK Timber Engineering, one of the UK’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of timber engineered products, has won the award for Best Supplier, South East Region at the prestigious Churchill Retirement Living Awards 2007.

Marking the second accolade this year for RK Timber Engineering, which produces trussed rafters, spandrel panels, smartroof, I Beams and posi-joists, the win comes on the back of the award for Best Supplier in the North East region in March from housebuilder McCarthy and Stone. The latest award, which was presented at The Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton, represents the company’s outstanding service and industry commitment.

Hosted by Spencer and Clinton McCarthy, Chairman and Group Managing Director and Managing Director respectively of Churchill Retirement Living, the awards acknowledged exceptional high standards of service. Categories aimed to celebrate every stage of the construction process including the sub-contractor, service provider, land agent and supplier of the year.

RK Timber Engineering’s success follows its high level of service provided to Churchill’s technical, design and procurement teams, and its commitment to working in partnership to achieve core business objectives.
