Recent government initiatives have encouraged the UK construction industry to use Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in their building projects. This combined with increased environmental regulation concerning sound and insulation, has resulted in a significant increase in the use of timber frame systems.
The use of cassette floor panels has become increasingly popular because they can improve on-site safety and dramatically speed up the erection process. We have introduced engineered timber floor cassettes into their product range to provide a product that complements timber frame structures.
Cassettes are manufactured using either I-beams or Posi-Joists to meet customer requirements. Lifting straps are built into the cassettes ensuring safe lifting for both transportation and site erection. The decking material is subject to the requirements of the final floor – OSB boarding, Plywood or Chipboard can all be specified.
